On a periodic basis, the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History or the Central Coast Natural History Association sponsors special events.

July 17-18, 2008 The CCNHA will be hosting a kid's, (ages 7-12), sleepover at the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History at 6pm on Thursday, July 17, 2008 . Cost per Kid Rock Member $55 and Non-Member $65. Call PJ Kelly @ 805.7722694 x102 to register or for more information. Register By June 30th, 2008 and receive a free Rocky T-shirt.

July 24, 2008 CCNHA's Retire the Debit Reception and Champagne tasting Party Donation: $25

October 18, 2008 The One-Eyed Skunk Golf Tournament at the Morro Bay golf course. Individuals are $125 and foursomes $500. Sponsorships are available.

December 1, 2008 Museum Store Open House 1 to 5pm. Free Gift Wrapping, Free Snacks and Hot Coco, and a Free Gift with a purchase of $50 or more.
