What Color is Your Heart? Do you Heart your State Parks?

Come out to Morro Rock on Saturday, August 28, 2009 from 11-1 pm to show how you “heart” your State Parks. The Central Coast Natural History Association will be hosting tables for you to sign green hearts in support of our local State Parks as well as any comments you would like to make on what your local State Parks mean to you. These green hearts will be attached to a banner which will then be sent to Sacramento for display at the capital.

Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition - From the Director, Mary Golden

As I sit here trying to write about the summer and the Save Our State Parks campaign, only war analogies and metaphors are coming to mind, although I have to admit I may be influenced by the 1940’s Big Band and war era music my husband and I listen to when we sit and talk together in the evening.
